T-man started his ( now biggest ) channel in 2010. With a simple idea " I want to do my builds differently and see if people like them " Since then,that channel has grown into one of the largest, most watched off-road go kart channels on YouTube. With 400+ videos of builds, tutorials , How-tos, and fabrication.

In the past few years we have found (through experimentation) that even though this content is popular and inspires thousands it is to difficult to fund it solely through advertising.Running these projects is expensive. It's expensive in time and costs. That basically means it eats away every bit of extra time... and then asks for more. (things break... usually at the worst times, relationships suffer, tears are shed) As you know,
time spent working on any creative project is basically lost personal income... unless that project is making
it up. Providing this content can be extremely fulfilling and can very much feel like an art form. However, when a project starts to feel like an anchor... not so much.

The goal of this, is to COMMUNITY FUND the channels and remove the constant stress and
distraction of trying to fund from other sources. Time spent trying to drum up funding through ads or freelance
work simply isn't tenable. It's always been a distraction and pulls focus away from where it really
should be. (improving the platform) Also, those funding sources simply aren't stable enough.
Also, as most people reading this are probably YouTubers... I know you completely understand how scary it is to rely on something as fickle as AdSense! The income can take wide swings and the CPM is dropping each year.

Also, I really like the idea of developing a nice little community of real supporters! This sounds so much
better to me than investing my time in social networks that can be tepid, fickle, and everything in between...
where you never really know who will step up when you need help or reply when you need input! Sometimes, it's
like talking to a wall! (ahem, twitter)
